Willy Bachtiar, S.Ikom., M.Ikom is an accomplished academic and social activist with a diverse background in banking and communications. He is a faculty member at the Institute Pertanian Bogor, where he teaches Communication to D3 students. He has also previously worked in the banking sector, where he honed his business skills at banks such as Bank Bukopin and Bank BTN.

Willy earned his Master’s degree in Communication from the Faculty of Communication Sciences at Universitas Padjadjaran. During his studies, he co-authored a book titled “Wajah Televisi Indonesia” in 2012. Apart from his academic career, Willy is actively involved in various social initiatives. He is a co-founder of “Rumah Berbagi Sejuta Kebahagiaan,” a non-profit organization that focuses on providing aid and support to underprivileged communities. He is also an event organizer, providing his expertise in event planning via his enterprise Communication Creative.

As a dedicated communicator and educator, Willy has been teaching at IPB since February 2011, mentoring D3 students in the field of Communication. He has also been a guest lecturer at various seminars and workshops, where he shares his expertise with communication professionals and students alike.

Outside of his academic and social commitments, Willy has a passion for photography and adventure sports such as rock climbing. Overall, Willy Bachtiar’s unique combination of experience in banking, communication, and social activism has made him a valuable member of the academic community and a respected voice for advancing social justice
