Dr. Pria Sembada, S.Pt., M.S.T., M.Si. is an expert in the field of Technology and Animal Husbandry Management, and has significant experience in education and research.
He obtained his Bachelor and Master of Animal Science degree from IPB University. He also earned Master of Science and Technology with a specialization in Animal Production in Tropical Region from SupAgro Montpellier. He later obtained his PhD from SupAgro Montpellier in Ecologie Fonctionnelle et Sciences Agronomiques majoring in Animal Science.
Dr. Sembada is currently a lecturer at IPB, teaching courses related to Animal Husbandry and Farm Management. He has published numerous research articles and papers in respected academic journals, with a focus on smallholder farmer empowerment and livestock development. His research has been presented at various international conferences and seminars.
In addition to his academic and research pursuits, Dr. Sembada has also served as a consultant for various government and private agencies. He has extensive experience in providing technical assistance to farmers and rural communities in the areas of livestock and agribusiness development.
